The Roberts lab is part of the UNT Dept. of Biological Sciences and the UNT Institute of Applied Sciences.  We conduct research in ecotoxicology both in the laboratory and in the field. Our research program is focused largely on the effects of environmental stressors on aquatic organisms, specifically on how changes at the molecular and biochemical level can  result in impacts on populations, communities, and ecosystems. Research projects in our lab include studies on PAH, mercury, and nanoparticles. Our work is supported by US EPA, NOAA, Dept. of Defense agencies, and industry.
